Paper acceptance, upcoming talks

Our work has been accepted!

Sturm, Santos, Ben-Tal and Korshunova, “Music transcription modelling and composition using deep learning”, in Proc. 1st Conf. Computer Simulation of Musical Creativity, Huddersfield, UK, July 2016. (Of course, this is merely an advertisement for the real research, a github repo.)

Next Friday, April 22, I will be UStateside, giving a seminar at my alma mater, CU Boulder!

Institute of Cognitive Science Colloquium, 12-13h in Muenzinger D428.

It will be my presentation, “Clever Hans, Clever Algorithms: Are Your Machine Learnings Learning What You Think?”

If you can’t make that one, then I will give nearly the same presentation (“Your machine learnings may not be learning what you think they are learning: Lessons in music and experimental design”) at Audio Analytic, May 10 18h30.
